Shipping and Returns Policy
1. Delivery Cost and Methods
The delivery cost is dependent on the area the delivery is required as well as the items ordered. Your delivery cost will be quoted at the time of Checkout of your shopping cart. Certain areas will require an estimate from our courier service provider. We will deliver your items within 3-10 working days. A surcharge will be included for deliveries to farms, remote hospitals, remote areas, power stations and high risk town ships. The cost of the delivery is subject to change without notice. Orders weighing more than 15Kg in either actual or volumetric weight will incur additional charges, as well as orders over 2Kg being delivered outside of JHB or PTA which require an overnight delivery.
2. Free Shipping
Should you qualify for free shipping (orders over R1 000.00) this will be applicable to standard deliveries. Should your area be to any of these areas, a surcharge will still be applicable, to farms, remote hospitals, remote areas, power stations and high risk town ships
3. Lead Times
Party Smarti endeavours to have all orders delivered within 3-10 working days from receipt of payment; this can vary depending on the range of items ordered, the area delivery is required as well as the actual and volumetric weight of the parcel. Please make sure you enter the date of the party on your order. We will not be held liable for orders paid and required within less than 10 working days. In the instance the order may take longer than 10 working days we will inform you as soon as possible. If for some reason we are not able to get the order to you in time for you party and you have entered the party date on the order prior to payment, and the 10 working days have passed since payment we will refund you the amount paid for your order, but will not be liable in any other way or form, should you require an overnight delivery.
4. Courier Services
We use The Courier Guy for all our deliveries. Once your order has been paid for, packed and collected by our courier, we will send you an email with the tracking number and contact details. It is your responsibility to supply an address where a person will be available during the week to receive the parcel. It is neither the courier company, nor Party Smarti’s error should you not be available to receive the parcel or if the courier company cannot get hold of you. Should you have any change to address or contact details, please contact The Courier Guy directly.
5. Special Instructions
Should you have any special instructions regarding shipping of your order, please send us an email on email@example.com to discuss.
6. Payment Methods
Payments may be made via Credit / Debit Card. The exact amount must be paid. If any other references are used this could lead to a delay in processing you order
- Party Smarti makes every effort to ensure products displayed on the website are an accurate representation.
- Returns will be accepted at the discretion of Party Smarti
- Should you need to return any item, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your package.
- Please supply a reason for return, collection address, collection times, contact person and number and special instructions.
- Party Smarti will arrange their own courier to collect the package – please make sure it is wrapped according to transportation standards:
- Package your products safety and securely for protection during transit.
- Clearly mark your return reference number on the outside of the parcel.
- Include all accessories and parts that were sold with the product.
- Should you be returning an item due to a parcel being received damaged, Party Smarti will cover the courier costs and arrange to send a replacement. (Provided you notify us and send an image within 48 hours of delivery)
- Please send an image of any damaged items with your email.
- Should you be returning an item due to ordering too many, not liking the item or another reason, you will be liable for the courier costs to return the item.
- Returns will not be accepted if items are not in their original packaging.
- Opened items will not be accepted for return, unless on opening they were found to be damaged.
- Custom items and balloons will not be an accepted for a return.
- We will not accept any used products for return.
- If you receive a product which is not what you ordered, please notify us and we will gladly replace the item at no cost.
- Once returned items are received by Party Smarti, we will begin to process your refund. Please allow 10 working days for this.
- Due to the nature of our supplies, no products carry any warranty of any sort.
